John's first full-length CD in THREE YEARS. Ten (10) all new songs - six of which either written or co-written by John. If you enjoyed his debut CD "Soakin' Up The Son" then you're going to love "I Choose Now."

For those pre-ordering the new CD, you will also receive two additional new cuts that will ONLY BE AVAILABLE ON THE PRE-ORDER CD as well as a Bonus Track of the 2014 Christian Country Top 5 Hit "Take This Country Back" that has never been included on any CD.

So a total of 13 BRAND NEW SONGS!

We are asking for a minimum donation of $5.00 to at least cover shipping. Anything on top of that amount will go directly to final costs of this project including some surprises that we're keeping the lid on for now.

Choose Wisely

"Above all, be strong and very courageous to carefully observe the whole instruction My servant Moses commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or the left, so that you will have success wherever you go."
-Joshua 1:7

As I read one of my devotional and passages this morning, the only thing that kept running through my mind is how compromise is a funny thing. It appears in veiled ways, never as the ugly, disfigured and unattractive beast that it truly is; it may appear attractive, pleasing to the eye and… Read more

Whiffle Ball Bats, Stolen Eggs and a Failed Political Strategy

It seems like just yesterday. August 1973. I had come home from another miserable day at school where I had been bullied and pushed around by Jon Jon. Digress here for just a minute. Anyone that knows me today, knows that I am very rarely at a… Read more

He Taught Me How To Be The Man I Am Today

I have been blessed to have - and still have - the dad that God knew I needed in my life. Though a man of very few words, when he did speak I listened.

There are many things that Lloyd Randolph taught me about being a man, a father and a husband that were not in the form of formal talks or lessons, but in the daily living I got to do with my dad. There were countless lessons learned as I struggled to keep pace with his footsteps around his shop where he labored in his vocation as a mechanic; then there were… Read more

A Little Home Maintenance

"...We will not neglect the house of God."
- Nehemiah 10:39

When our family first moved out to East Texas, we purchased a 47-year-old farmhouse that had been built by the farmer that had originally purchased the land in the early 1940's. This was the second house Cindy and I had purchased or owned in our short 10 years of marriage.

Our first house was a house that we had built right after we wed in 1996. That house was perfect! It was a house that we built and designed from the ground up. We were on site… Read more

It's Time For A Celerabration

“At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, the Levites were sought out from where they lived and were brought to Jerusalem to celebrate joyfully the dedication with songs of thanksgiving and with the music of cymbals, harps and lyres. The musicians also were brought together from the region around Jerusalem…for the musicians had built villages for themselves around Jerusalem. When the priests and Levites had purified themselves ceremonially, they purified the people, the gates and the wall.”

If you ever… Read more
